†November is upon us, with that the start of the Holiday season and the arrival of our snowbird members. Thank you all for the support you have shown thru out these last few months. Membership and participation is the key to any successful post and we are making strides to increase both. I would like to ask all members, as well as supporters and friends to think about the less fortunate this holiday season and if possible donate some time or money to the post so we can continue to fund and promote the programs that help out veterans and their families. Remember to use the suggestion box if you have any issues or ideas you would like to share. The well being of the Post is my number one concern and with your collective help I hope to see it thrive in the coming years.

One of the hardest areas in which to trust God is in the matter of justice. We want justice to prevail especially if we are the victim. We become impatient if we are not avenged quickly.
When someone offends us, our responsibility is to respond with forgiveness. God will take the responsibility to see that justice is done.
God is absolutely just, and only He can ensure that justice is fully carried out.

Before starting our meeting in October, we draped our Charter for three members Helen Dove, Beverly Giglio and Maggie DíOnofrio.

Thank you to all the members who helped decorate the canteen for Halloween.† It really looked great and we have gotten many compliments from Post members.
NO MORE CUTTING COUPONS.† Please leave the book together.† If you take it apart we cannot use it.† Thanks to all for your support.
On October 2nd two Department of Florida Officers and several District 11 Officers joined us for breakfast at the Post.† We had a great visit with them and they complimented Papo for the wonderful breakfast.
Show Me The Money is every Wednesday at 6:30.† Come join us. ††Papo has begun serving food during the season for the Wednesday crowd.
Three members went to the VA for the Halloween Party.† Many members dressed in costume and the vets had a great time.
The Auxiliary had a fund raiser on October 22nd upstairs at the Post.† The Magic Mike Review.† It was a blast.† The funds raised will go to the veterans.
December 11th is the 40th Annual Jupiter Tequesta Christmas Parade at 1PM.
We are having a Bake Sale on December 18th.† Our last one was great.† Letís make this one awesome.
There will be a New Years Eve Party.† Cost is $50 each.† This is being run by the Legion, Auxiliary and the Sons. Further info at the Post or in next months newsletter.
The Auxiliary is offering Angel Ornaments for sale to be put on the crosses set up for Memorial Day.† Names of loved ones who have passed away can be put on the ornament.† More info to follow.
Come to our next meeting.† We will be discussing the baskets for our Christmas Basket Chinese Auction and also Christmas cards to be sent to the veterans.

We have used all of the Home Depot grant money and we still need a few more things to make our post complete.
